Alternative connection for main fan

I blew the resistor for the main fan power source.

Can I use a different power source as alternative?

Re: Cool light LED bar upgrade

Hey satoer, Thanks for designing such a cool upgrade :) I just received my LED bar and switch, but need some help wiring it up. Could you please explain the wiring for dummies, I'm a bit hopeless when it comes to electronics :? ///Edit: Actually the wiring is pretty simple  I just didn't draw ...

Re: Problem with Felix LCD-Display

I was on the phone with Guillaume and he told me to look into the wide connector again. Now I noticed that the cable was not perfectly aligned. Cut the end off and put it back on the right way. Display works :) Just in case someone encounters the same problem, here is a photo of what the connector s...

Re: New hotend peek melted

I have talked to Guillaume and he has already sent out a new one to me :)

He said the same, that can only happen with overheating. But the thermistor is installed correctly and seems to be working just fine. I will test it before I install the new hotend.

Re: New hotend peek melted

I think I have the same problem, if I understand correctly what you are talking about. I just received my Felix 3.0 two weeks ago and have been printing a little bit since. From the beginning on I could see some PLA squeezing out from above the print head. Didn't think it was unusual, I mean it was ...

Re: Problem with Felix LCD-Display

Your picture looks right to me. Best explanation at this point is bad cable/connectors, or bad display. I'd call Guillaume and arrange for a replacement. I did also check all the connectors on the display board, tighten the screws and made sure the cables have contact. Might really just be a bad di...

Re: Problem with Felix LCD-Display

I really don't know what the problem is.
Changing the contrast (i assume you are speaking off the variable resistor right next to display cable plug) does not change anything. The display is off.

Re: Problem with Felix LCD-Display

Did you get a reply?

I have the Felix 3.0 and my display doesn't turn on at all.
It's correctly connected and all screws are tight, but no life signal. Do I need to activate it in the settings somewhere?

Re: Felix 3.0 - Spindle alignement

Thanks for the quick reply :)
I took the motor completely off, aligned the profile and now it looks like it fits well.

Back to work now, still some pieces to be assembled.

Felix 3.0 - Spindle alignement

I have been trying to assemble my Felix 3.0, but the spindle doesn't align with the motor. In the manual on page 9, step 13 of Module 2 it says: "Make sure the plastic is good connect it to the frame!" However this is not possible, because the motor bracket is not perfectly flat on the bottom side, ...
