Yet Another LED lighting upgrade
Hi all yet another idea to place some LEDs to light your Felix. http://i57.tinypic.com/ajwglk.jpg I used flexible self-sticking LED Strips with 60 LEDs per meter and just put them into the nuts of the aluminium profiles. They are even flat enough to fit between the z-axis wagon and the flat face of ...

Re: Felix 3.0 Dual nozzle calibration
Well, i've just recently started with all this 3D printing stuff and currently only using PLA. I think this should be no problem because all this is placed above the peek isolation parts. So it should not get really hot there. Besides my nozzles seem not to be perfectly at the same hight I'll give t...

Re: Felix 3.0 Dual nozzle calibration
Hi I had a similar effect with the "moving" nozzles. I think the reason for this is that it not possible to tighten the clamps pushing the extruders against the x-slide (and holding the fans + airducts) enough. Main reason for this in my opinion is that they are split in the middle, so there is no w...

Are you sure you mountet your z-axis linear bearing correctly? As far as I can follow your description to me it sound like its somewhat tilted with respect to a vertical line. Or maybe the whole frame is a little bit scew.

Re: FELIX 3.0 POWER
Make sure you have the propper Board selectet in the Arduino IDE. For the Felix 3.0 this should be Arduino Mega(ATmega2560 or MEGA ADK). Also try to upload the single head firmware and see if this works. If not it might be a driver Problem on the USB port. If possible try to upload from a different ...

Re: Felix 3.0 Dual - Slizer setting shown in manual not avai
The two screws (with the washers and crinkeled washers underneath) control the pressure at which the filament is pushed against the extruer pulley. The more you tighten (clockwise) the screw the less the filament is pushed against the bearing. the more you loose the screw (counter clockwise) the mor...

Re: Guide for using your FelixPrinter on a Linux Host
For those who want to use Linux with Repetier 0.91 Firmwares (as for the Felix 3.0 Dual Extruder) it's no (longer?) possible to change the baudrate settings in the configuration.h It's much "easier" now. You can select the baudrate by change the corresponding setting via the LCD module. Configuratio...
