I have used PTFE inserts for few months now and with that Felix extruders works well. Used it for printing ABS, PVA and PA, few hundreds hours totally . Not any jams after I installed PTFE parts. In my opinion PTFE insert is a must, without that it's not possible work efficiently with Felix extruder...

The PTFE part is tricky but possible to make if you have use of small lathe (and some tools). dia. 6 mm solid PTFE bar is good to start at and easily available. Description of work steps needed is quite long story but if somebody is interested I'll write how managed to make parts that works well.

Hi, My solution: I drilled the coldend completely through with 4mm. Drilled the PEEK with 5mm. So the cold- and hotend has a defined stop and a distance of 2,5mm. Also had the same problem, even when parts were new. If retrack was longer than 2-3mm filament jammed quite often. Nylon was especially difficult. Check the thermistor before you install new PEEK. Might be broken and temperature was much more than 195 deg.

I had to replace also two separate nut with solid bar to avoid nuts rotating inside plastic parts. 2x6.5x40 bar with 2 pieces M4 thread in 32 mm distance.
