feed speed reduction for "skin layer" in flat parts

I was wandering is there a way to generally slow down the final "skin" layer in g code.(to work with flat surface parts). I know it could be done by replace command in g code editor but basically every line has a feed speed defined. Is there a way ( command) to reduce feed by a desired percentage? I...

Re: Hotbed warped

i had the same idea but i tried with 4mm glass but you need to tighten it somehow to the bed to fix it and it bends to the shape of the bed. I was thinking of applying some specialty glue in drops and place the glas on top, this way it should stay flat and also be glued to the bed. I am a bit worried...

Now i need some big prints and i can get the bed leveled, took a comparator gauge and measured and wow ;up to 0,89mm diffeerence in X axis and 0,33mm in Y ax...

Re: Cable-trunk replacement

I tried leveling them absolutely the same (i have 0,1mm 0,2mm etc gauge sheets) but it did not work too greatly since there is always bit oozing.but i did not get to try skirt or wiping edge yet.

Re: Cable-trunk replacement

Great job!I also was thinking (because i had all the cables nicely bound,3.0 dual DIY kit) of the horror if any of the components needed to be replaced.Luckily it has not happened ,yet..

By the way can you tell me what was the height difference betwen EXT 1 and 2 that worked for you?

Re: Lines in layer uneven

Thanx guys.It was diagonal printing at this place. I thought it may be that and i have noticed belts are a bit saggy. I am trying to tighten them bit by bit as i am not quite sure when tight becomes too tight.I know this for belts on machinery but machinery has much sturdier construction.Other eleme...

Lines in layer uneven

As i start print (thats where it gets obvious) the lines within the layer are uneven.(see pic.) It is wrinkled because i ripped it from the bed. I tried sloving it down a bit and increasing flow to compensate but unsuccessuful. Its PLA printed at 204C and 60 C bed temp. I have yet to check...
