Pro 1 same display as Aldi printer or vice versa?

I was watching Maker's Muse channel on YouTube and he showed the display of his Cocoon printer. Surprisingly it is pixel by pixel the same as the Pro 1 image. Makes me wonder who was first.

Haha okay, as long as there is a better reason than just cosmetics.

Re: Pro 1 spooling filament hook

Why would you need free floating spools? The friction prevents coils getting unwound accidentally. And the torque from the extruder on the spool is plenty.

Re: Pro 1 discussion

@jorstrm can you post the g-code? In Simpify3D I can load it and check what's going on.

Re: Pro 1 discussion

Looks like a slicing problem to me. Which program do you use? Are there more objects in the same print? How many contours? Do you print infill first or contour first? How much overlap between infill and contour?

Re: Pro 1 threeway filament guide

With the first layer you need to compensate for small errors in the print bed and in the calibration height. I measured the bed to have up to 0,04mm waves. Let's presume the calibration adds another 0,01mm error. If you would print a 0,15mm layer, the error is 33% of the layer thickness ((0,04+0,01)...

Re: SIMPLIFY3D Settings

These are mine. Pay attention to check settings, as the infill , support etc. need to be customized for each print. One file for single extruder (choose left or right), the other for dual extruder operation. In the latter I added a tool change script, be sure to change the temperatures to appropriat...

Re: Pro 1 threeway filament guide

Hi Dhatw, you ask a lot in one question. * PLA, in this case from Makerpoint.nl, but most will do. * Simplify3D, my favorite. Felix Builder has some nice features too, but I need S3D to check g-code before printing (FB has no slicing preview). * Layer 0,15mm, first layer 150% thickness and 120% extr...

Re: felix Pro 1 Huge shifting during printing

Just ten minutes ago I witnessed another issue. I submitted a ticket also, but here's the text: "I had a few times the X or Y axis shifted. Now I observed what happened: the right extruder is pulled out of retracted position by the print. This happens if parts of the print get curled-up a bit by the...
