Re: Extruder Heater Error
WOW! Thanks so much for that. I took the heated bed off and played around with some of the wires. Then I noticed 1 of 6 pop-up pins on the pcb circuit for the heated bed wasn't popping up anymore. So, I replaced the heated bed mini pcb with one I bought before and it now works great! This has been a...

Re: Extruder Heater Error
I have also tried: - printing 'benchy' test print from original USB stick, same problem (this removes the slicer software as potential issue) - using Extruder2, same problem - did an x/y & z calibration, same 'Extruder Heater Error' problem I don't think I'm able to test anything else to isolate the...

Extruder Heater Error

PROBLEM: - first it stopped printing midway "Extruder Heater Error" - 2nd time and thereafter it heats up and then before it prints "Extruder Heater Error" "Please consult the user manual for troubleshooting" is all I get on the screen. ...

Extruders not heating
Hi all,
I have a Felix Pro2Touch.
Both extruders are now not heating and/or printer stops mid print and says "Heater error"
But when I look in the manual it doesn't state what to do or how to check the extruders or sensors or anyyhing.
I'm stuck, how do I fix this?
Thanks,
Evan

extruders skipping
Frustrated. I just received my Pro2 touch yesterday. It did a great test print with the boat. Then I wake up to print next day and I hear thumping from both extruders. I did end up turning the power switch off just before it started to print once this morning..... could this have caused the problem?...

Software install
Hi all, I reinstalled Win 7 Operating System on the PC which connected to the printer. But now windows can't find the driver to install for the Arduino. I thought I d/l the file from www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm and it still can't find it. The firmware has already been installed for the printer....

Re: Motor buzzes
In this case, adding more power by turning the pot meter would have likely overloaded the stepper motor.

Re: Motor buzzes
Turns out the stepper motor (and the Arduino) were overheating so I put another fan on the Arduino and no more shifting prints
All is good
Thanks!

Re: Extruder skipping, sparse print
Solved the part shift when printing.
Arduino box was overheating, si I put a bigger fan on the board.
... it all makes sense now.
The stepper motor overheated, not enough ventilation.
Thought I would post a conclusion for anyone having similar problems
