Re: Circles are oval

Well,
I figured out I can get it correct by changing the aspect ratio of the axis. At least now I can resume printing, its resonably accurate but I would like to fix the problem.
If If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

Re: Circles are oval

update!
I just switched the X axis motor and sensor with the Y axis and the problem is still on the old Y axis, so I belive it must be a problem somewhere there.
Is it possible the stepper motor is just stepping 8 % more? Bad motor?

Re: Circles are oval

I now just compleated a print of a rectangle and I got the 150mm size on the X axis I hoped for but around 160 on the Y axis.
I have no clue what the problem is.

Circles are oval

Hi,

I recently noticed that when i print circles they come out oval on the Y axis.
I tried to loosen/tighten the strap that drives the axis but it still comes out oval.

my test circle of 30 mm comes out 30 on the X axis and about 32 on the Y axis.

any ideas?

Re: Problems with the extruder

Well it did, at first but then when I took the extruder unit apart then the sensor just quit. That was my last one so I have to wait a bit for the next one to arrive.
I will try to clean the extruder and see if that helps.

thanks

Problems with the extruder

Hello, I would start a print print fine in draft quality for 3 hours, then start another print right after but the filament gets stuck. The temperature would show a steady 200° but it gets stuck. I took it out and fed the filament through with hand. No problems for the first centimeters but then its...
