Re: Filament cleaner

Hi, I use a plastic bag clip from ikea. I cut a notch into it and put to pieces of kitchen sponge into it. It has already two notches on the inside, which hold the sponge. I recommend to use a smaller one. I used he big one because I did not know which sponge material to use at first so I thought I ...

Re: I really wanted to like this printer, but I'm done with

I ordered the Felix 2.0 a year ago as a DIY Kit and ok it took some time to assemble it, ok through my profession I have training in assembling electromechanic things so I think for a ...

Re: Next version wannahaves

I would like to have an "all-metal-hotend" like this:

To prevent stuck of filament with variant diameter.
More robust printing.

Re: mess after some right layers

I have the same problem with a particular filament, price is no sign of quality. I do not have proof but it is probably that the filament has a variation in diameter over length and gets stuck in the plastic ring of the hotend.

Re: Serious y-axis troubles with Felix 2.0

Hi, I gave it another try. yaxis3.jpg Left side the filament guide from the download section, right hand side the 40x40.stl. In the 40x40 there is not so much direction change but you can see that there is already a deviation in the upper layers. I set the eeprom values for velocity to 900.00, y-axi...

Serious y-axis troubles with Felix 2.0

Hi *, I have my Felix since two weeks now but I cannot get ridd of some serious y-axis misplacement occuring during operation. x-and z-axis are both ok. The things in the foto should be poti-knobs. yaxis1.jpg I tightend all the screws and belts. And I also tried to enter the mm per Step variables in...
