Felix 2.0 to 3.1 questions

Hi all,

I'm looking at the 3.1 upgrade from my 2.0.

I'm also looking to go from single to dual extruder.

Do two new hot ends come in the kit ?

Repetier 1.5.6 update ???

Is Felix Printers going to update us to 1.5.6 ?

I can't get 1.0.6 to work properly with my 3D graphics card as it crashes at startup.

Re: Extruder carriage design for E3D Bowden Hot end V6

I've got a print job going now, and it's working.

The problem seems to happen when I use manual control in repetier and it feeds filament then. Not sure what's different. Maybe the manual control is too quick ?

Re: Extruder carriage design for E3D Bowden Hot end V6

When the backpressure starts to occur I can see the hotend is extruding much thicker filament too.

But I'm at 230 degress now with PLA.

Re: Extruder carriage design for E3D Bowden Hot end V6

Actually, this is still a problem.

I think it's due to the 5v fan not cooling the hot end enough.

Do people use 12v for this hot end ?

EDIT: I can see satoer does use 12v.

Re: Fan connections?

Is there anything you have to do to get OPT working, or is constantly outputting 12V ?

As it doesn't seem to be outputting anything here.
