Question of Flow and Feed Rate in Repetier host

Post by Hugues »

Hi everyone,

In repeater Host, the last tab, called Manual control, there are 2 slide bars called feed rate and flow rate.

If i set feed rate at 90%, then i add a new part and slice it with SFACT, does the 90% still apply ? or i have to bring it down more , like 80%, to slow it down ?

I'm asking because it looks like after slicing the speed of the print head is quite fast,

i hope my question is clear....

The settings in the manual control do not influence the generation of the G-code of the slicer. The manual control adjusts the generated G-code just before its been sent to the printer. So if you push the printer speed to 150%, it increases the speed of the G-code by 50% while printing. And not adjust the speed by adding 50% while generating G-code.
