I think my hot end thermister is broke...

Post by twicx »

I had a little look around on the forums, and I'm getting that M999 error. Is there any way to fix this or do i have to replace the thermistor?

Unplug and measure the thermistor if you can. What does your extruder temp read?

I just destroyed my thermistor today after 15min of printing abs at 245 degrees. Extruder temp reading suddenly went to 375 degrees and i got the error.

Did you get a spare with your set?

Really ?
I just bought a spool of ABS and Taulman 618 last night , recommended extrusion temperature is 240-250. Too high for a Felix 2.0 ? Can't find the max extrusion temp on the web page.
