Felix Pro 1 don't calibrate.

Post by FunnyManNsk »

Hello, I'm from Novosibirsk Russia . My English not wery good, sorry for mistakes.

I've got a problem this my Felix Pro 1. Printer new from box.

First of all when it is turning ON, usualy it give me a message "z sensor triggered", but not always.

Second problem - it can't calibrate level of platform.
Look video here: https://youtu.be/NkriKzRidl0
It provide third problem - I can't use 2 nozzle to print.

If I don't make calibrate every time so it will print on air.

Please say what should I do to make it work.

Hi FunnyManNsk,

This issue sometimes occures with rough shipment and handling. Your Z-Probe (Z-endstop) is stuck and triggered, luckaly this issue is very easy to solve.

Please download this tutorial:

if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us

Good luck!

Manual "How to check your hot-end flexure"... I don't find there any Z-probe etc.

I looked on my hot end - it's OK no any damage.
But i saw that some metal disk (Z-probe?) from left is not vertical. Look video it helps to understand me.

Is the magnet loose? If you hold a metal piece next to it, can you pull the magnet out? If yes that is a problem, otherwise it should work normally.

I also noticed the following: The magnetic surface should be very clean because it electrically conducts.

The magnet holds tight with a metal object can not be removed.I clean it all, though in appearance it was so clean.

I tried to make the calibration succeeded. But during calibration removed when left point reference table is slightly tilted.
Because of this, the table level is not obtained accurate.

At the start of printing a test pattern bar has a varying thickness.

Thickness ranging from 0.05 mm from the left edge and 0.6 mm from the right edge of the printing at a thickness of 0.2 mm layer.

Hi, good to hear the probing works now. That the bed tilts a little bit is expected. The firmware compensates for this.

Do you have the latest firmware installed by the way? Compared to the older firmwares it handles the leveling more reliably. Can you post a video of the leveling itself? This gives more insight in the situation.

Here is some video of calibration and starting to print.

Surprisingly, this time, the printer did everything correctly and even prints, but the quality leaves much to be desired (I give the photo)Update the firmware is a good idea, but I do not know how to do it, and where to get the latest version.

Hi, it seems there is way too much material being extruded. What slicing settings are you using? Please use the latest FELIXbuilder settings. You can get it over at the download section. http://www.felixprinters.com/downloads Also what meterial are you using? According to your temperature settings you are printing with PETG. If you are for instance using PLA, please lower the temperature.
