Another simple filament spool holder

Post by stefanomoris »

Here is my solution, and STLs for those who would to print it out. I've got over 100 printing hours with this setup with no problems thus far. I printed the bracket and finger nut tightener "Production, dense, no support" and the two spindles with Draft quality. The hardware is about 22cm of 6mm threaded rod, two nuts, two washers, and a wingnut. -stef

i've been using it for at least a month now, maybe more, i can confirm it's working very well, my filament never got tangled anymore compared to horizontal placement before.

thanks !

I tried the print this spool holder multiple times without much success.
I used the Netfabb webservices to fix the .stl, but with the same results.
I used the SFACT 2.1 Normal, without support profile.

see picture attached.

Any idea what went wrong?
I like the design, so truly would like to print it.
