Sorry for not being 100% in subject here, but I feel the need to express this:
Issues with computer systems can be resolved - upgrade to LCD/SD and free your Felix!
HLA: You TROLL I love your derailing of the thread though I would say 0% on subject but a great suggestion that all users (PC/Mac/Linux/C64?/Eniac?) should think of to minimize the potential for problems with communication/buffer.
I plan to add LCD/SD in the not so distant future

I'm also using a Mac. One thing I found so far is that Slic3r doesn't handle very detailed geometry very well, generating too little segments, which seems to cause stalls, and thus ugly blobs in the print.
I'm new here and also a Mac user. So i wonder if the 2 software packages
- Pronterface for Mac or - Repetier host for Mac are usable.
For my projects I use OpenSCAD and FreeCAD. Whit it I produce .stl files. But I have to render this files to use with Felix 1.5.
What about Netfabb?
Have someone experience on it?
I'm searching a 3D Printer to build some complex parts for my homemade helicopter. Felix Printer is very interesting.
