Wrong Linear Bearings for the Felix 3

Post by 3dprinter-au »

Hi,

just assembling my Felix 3.0 printer. I have got to the part of adding in the Z linear bearing and found that the M4 20mm bolts won't fit through the holes on the flat bearing shaft. They are about 0.5mm too small for the M4 screw. The bolt fits the M4 T-slots.

I was thinking I could drill out the holes, but even the M4 head is too large

My bearing part number is different than the one listed in the Felix 3.0 Assembly manual. The slider says MGN12HC 1208ER - 4D and the flat shaft says: MGNR12C 130A9X-13 and is 300mm long x 12mm wide x 8mm high and has 12 mounting holes on the shaft.

Can anyone confirm what their part number is?

Looks like you have started installing the linear bearing intended for the X and Y axis. In your shipment there should be a third linear bearing with a larger carriage and M4 holes.

Cheers

Marc

Thanks for that. Yes, it looks the part. I did look at that, but it too has a different part number as well, Shaft: HGR15C 13070Z-55 and slider: HGW15CC 1301EL-61.
