3D printing and VOC levels?

Post by Lizzy Design »

Does anybody know if there is any reference on the levels of VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compound) when 3D printing? Whether this is a health concern issue? Have there been any studies or publications on this?

I don’t think that there is any VOC problem while printing 3D and the VOC is involved everywhere in each and every printing job

This is the only study I know of related to emissions from desktop 3D printers.
It's rather about ultrafine particles than VOC.

Thanks for that. Interesting article. I kind of expected caution should be taken. I sure will move the printer out of my office. Cheers
