Levelling the Building Plate

Post by kiteboarder »

ok so i have had a play around with levelling the building plate, and if we say the HOME area is the back right when looking at the printer. i can get the back right, front right, and the the middle left points all perfect.

HOWEVER not matter how much i try i can not get the back left or front left anywhere near, its as if there is a twist in the table somewhere.

Anyone else checked to see if each of the 4 corners is the same hight from the extruder?

I have had another play around and now i can get the back right, front right and front left to be the same distance from the extruder, but the back left is way out.

It may be so that your bed is actually warped or bent. Find something that you know to be absolutely flat and set it on the bed. Does it sit perfectly flat and flush?

3 point levelling cannot warp the plate and the extruder is independent of the plate.

Simple yet regrettable conclusion; the plate is warped :\
